 Places to eat in Montego BayOkay I've eaten at a few different places so I will start off this section.
The Native - FABULOUS FOOD but waaaaay expensive. It'll cost 2 people about $40 USD to dine there. Here's my review of it, you can see the fanciful food pics LOL. Easy to get to as well, you can walk it as its on the main strip, not far from Margaritaville. The Native The Pelican - The food was alright, and its definitely got Jamaican food. Not spectacular but the prices are reasonable and it was satisfying. The BEST place so far that I've eaten Jamaican food at was JOLLY ROGERS  Its a tiny hole in the wall restaurant on the main strip, in among the tourist shopping places, so you might miss it. But they are open late and have wicked fried chicken for super cheap. Like almost local prices. I think I had fried chicken, fries and a rum & coke for under $500 JMD. |

Eat there most every night! I hear that HouseBoat Grill is really good. I have been to Marguerites. The ambience is lovely but the food was crap. Fishbones is good, but the wait for your food is LONG. Actually - I think they forgot about us. I am a veg, so take my thoughts with that in mind. _________________

Re: Places to eat in Montego Bay We ate at Jolly Rogers when we stayed there - it was good food! I even have a cheesy picture of Sean posing with the pirate!
We also ate at a Cuban restaurant there. It was a nice place, if you want a more romantic atmosphere. The casino does a wondeful buffet brunch on Sundays - we went there once, and there were so many things available - both local foods and foreign. |

Re: Places to eat in Montego Bay Yeah, I'm not usually I big fan of KFC...but for some drunken reason I was craving it something fierce!
Actually, LOL, one of my last visits, we were out at a bar in Lucea, and I was madly craving a burger!! Do you know how hard it is to find a burger at 2:00 in the morning. My poor guy drove around for almost an hour. We ended up in Negril, and I had to settle for chicken... _________________
