Places to eat in Montego Bay

Post Re: Places to eat in Montego Bay
my favourite is still the Pork Pit.

If you think the Native is expensive then don't go to Margariettes or the HouseBoat Grill

I love the houseboatgrill.

We had lunch at Pier 1 a couple of trips ago and it was so overpriced and awful. $80.00 for 3 of us ...2 beers and one pop plus three plates of food. Unreal.

I also agree about the Pelican...so many people say...go there and eat jamaican food...umm no american version of jamaican food.

Had lunch at the Native this trip. I thought it was cheap. Under $40.00 for 4 people? seems cheap to me. Food was good. Service was adequate. Had....BLT, Curried chicken rice and peas, fish, fried chicken.

Hey don't worry, it happens to the best of us. I don't even eat KFC but I do in Jamaica!!

I've been told that I absolutely must try KFC in JA sometime...because it's so different from here. We haven't been near one and haven't yet, but perhaps this time.

Houseboat is right down the street from Sunset Beach. It looked like a cool place to dine.
