 Negril Restaurants
My favorites on the cliffs are:
LTU for breakfast or really nice sunset dinners
Alices for their conch strips, awsome curry goat and Billy who sits at the bar everynight and will play all your favorite music
The Rockhouse- SO expensive (but my sister was buying ...) and pretty stuffy, BUT the view and the lights that light up the ocean underwater is very romantic and the food was really good.
Jus Natural a must for breakfast and they are so nice.
Ras Rody organic vegetarian food amazing soups!!!
3 dives (ok if you want to wait 2 hours for your food.... ummm who does?)

 Re: Negril Restaurants
Let's see, I've eaten at the following places in Negril:
Irie on the Beach (at Rondell Village). I think it has a different name now. LOVE the food there! I've only eaten American food there though LOL.
Canoe - has fabulous food for cheap and its literally about 20 feet from the water.
Selina's Cafe - had breakfast burrito's there, it was yummy. Selina is from Calgary!
Sun Beach bar - Great fried chicken!
Various little local places on Norman Manley.

Oh I know....they aren't cheap...its a nice hotel! But its just habit for us to eat there, ever since Curtis and I were adopted into the Rondell family back in 2004 LOL.

 Re: Negril Restaurants
I love the restaurant at Xtabi. It's expensive but the view is worth any price that you pay for the "okay" food.

 Re: Negril Restaurants
I love having dinner at Catcha a Fallin Star, for 4 people it ran $70.00 US and that included a round of drinks as well, and the view is amazing!

 Re: Negril Restaurants
Had a wonderful dinner at Catcha. We've also enjoyed LTU, Miss Sonia's, Hungry Lion, Pushcart, 3 Dives, and Charella. Irie on the Beach is under new management as Island Twist. I did not try the food. The only bartender stillat the bar from before was Delroy. It sounds as if he willbe gone to US sometime this year.

 Re: Negril Restaurants
I'm heading back to JA at the end of April. I've only ever stayed at the GPJ in Lucea and at Chez's place. I'm thinking this time I'd like to maybe get a beach house or a CHEAP hotel! My best friend, who has never been to JA before, is coming with me for my bday!! I'm excited and want to share Jamaica with her! We're going from the 23 - 28; any suggestions????? Thanks!!!!

We stayed a couple nights at For Real Beach Resort in Negril....the rooms were EXTREMELY clean....it's a non AI, the food and drinks are pretty cheap and they have the best jerk chicken. They have a beach bar that seems to attract everybody from 7 mile beach....I've been told the drinks are the cheapest there. My sister's room, which overlooked the beach was $80 a night (local price) and our room was $66 a night (local price) . I would highly recommend this place. If you know a Jamaican that could book for you, you'll get the cheaper rate.
